Two CSP-Blog Posts Turn 20,000

Oldies but goodies.

It took some years, for sure, but my two most-viewed posts have gathered over 20,000 views each:

Figure 1. All-time page views by post, top of list.

And it makes good sense too. As much I like writing the Rants, Signal Processing ToolKit, and Comments-On posts, the important posts are the technical ones on CSP, and of those, the most important are on the basics of second-order cyclostationarity. Because the estimators, applications, and higher-order stuff all build on those basics.

Also, I’m gratified that the pointers to the open literature, embodied by My Papers and The Literature, rank very high in the all-time views list. I interpret this to mean, perhaps generously I don’t know, that my readers are in fact going off into the world to study the primary technical literature. Since the CSP Blog is supposed to be the middleman between that literature and readers’ successful SP/CSP software, it is nice to see lots of interaction with the CSP Blog and with the literature.

Happy 20,000th birthday SCF and CAF!

And just in case you want to see the bottom of the current list:

I'm a signal processing researcher specializing in cyclostationary signal processing (CSP) for communication signals. I hope to use this blog to help others with their cyclo-projects and to learn more about how CSP is being used and extended worldwide.
